Founded by James Blackman, Metaphorically draws on over 13 years of experience in the logistics industry, combined with a proven track record in marketing, software development, and business leadership. James’s journey began with a deep dive into logistics systems, where he honed his skills in optimising supply chains and streamlining operations. In 2010, he took a bold step into the entrepreneurial world by establishing a successful marketing agency Cocoonfxmedia Ltd, which laid the foundation for his later venture—a logistics software company CocoonFMS Ltd.

James’s leadership extends beyond business; he has served as the President of the Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber of Commerce and Industry for over 5 years and contributed his expertise as a board member of the Greater Birmingham Council.

James’s is commitment to business to championing a level playing field in business, by promoting all businesses to pay in 30 days. James’s has done regular talks with the Small Business Commissioner and other advisory working groups.
